Historic footage shows the history of naval aviation until 1940, including the flight of the NC-4 amphibian, the U.S. Navy's flying boats in Europe during World War I, and the first flights from the aircraft carrier Langley. Some of the ships featured include the aircraft carriers USS Langley, USS Lexington and the USS Saratoga.
