Takao is a place where lush nature and deep Japanese history stand in beautiful contrast. Takao, capturing the true essence of the "Tokyo Metropolitan Trail." We walk past 100-year-old cedar trees, traditional shrines, and the sacred Yakuo-in Temple. On our way up, we take Trail 6 toward the Biwa Waterfall, then climb up the steep mountain slope toward the area of Trail 1, the most popular route.
