Combat Taiji Elbow Zhou Technique
Chang San Feng (the founder of Tai Chi Chuan) left behind a few notes regarding the martial art he founded. In the Tai Chi Chuan (also spelled Taijiquan) classics, Chang mentions "the directions of the eight basic techniques". Taiji's eight basic techniques are: Wardoff, Rollback, Press, Push, Pluck, Split, Elbow and Bump. In Chinese (pinyin), the eight are: Peng, Lu, Ji, An, Cai, Lie, Zhou, Kao. In this video, Sifu Gee demonstrates the Elbow (Zhou) technique. Gary Gee is a Southern California based martial arts instructor.
