About the Artist: The Wahane sisters, Prakrati and Sanskrati, are contemporary Indian classical musicians from the Etawah gharana. They are trained in sitar and santoor and mentored by their father, Lokesh Wahane, as well as Ustad Shahid Parvez and Pandit Suresh Talwalkar. The sisters are known for their joint performances, including a sitar-santoor duet, and have performed internationally and at significant Indian cultural festivals.
