This is the first in a series of videos where I teach you everything you need to know about the new Affinity by Canva. In this video, I'll show you how to download the program, including where you can find help if you're unsure which installer to download if you're using Windows. Then I'll show you where you can review your Canva account's privacy settings if you're concerned about your data being used to train artificial intelligence (AI) models. I'll also show you how to link your Affinity (by Serif) account to download resources and brushes you've purchased from the Affinity Add-ons Store. We'll review all the settings you can edit to customize the program to your needs, explaining the new default change to object selection behavior. You'll also learn in detail how to create a new document and how to create presets to save time. Plus, I'll show you how to navigate the interface with confidence.
