In this video, I get real with you all during a transparent car chat about my journey with Epilepsy 💜. This isn’t something I usually talk about because I don’t want my condition to become my identity… but lately, I’ve been on a new medication to prevent seizures, and it’s brought some tough side effects. Many of you noticed my weight loss. Some complimented, others expressed concern. So I wanted to finally open up. I share how this medication has also caused memory loss and moments where I feel like I’ve lost my “common sense.” I’m torn between asking my neurologist to take me off it and risking those scary seizures returning (or just staying on it). Epilepsy is such a quiet, scary condition, but today I’m being transparent with you about my fears and my struggles.
