Filmed just a day before the Hitachi class 800, IET's were pulled from service due to a number of faults & cracks found on them. Quite a nice May afternoon at Bristol, sun shining & the smell of diesel trains in the air. INCLUDES: Cross Country HST's & Voyagers and Great Western Railway "Castle Set" class 255 HST's, 165's, 158's & IET's. There's also an additional shot of a XC HST departing Birmingham New St later that evening, after bringing me from Bristol. The service proceeds north to Leeds with a service from Plymouth.
