The BMW M5 with V10 engine now has a respectable sound, equipped with true equal length headers, screaming in perfect sync of each cylinder. A work of art that I bought from a company in the Netherlands, with the equal length pipes, in search of the perfect sound for the car. It's no use being a V10 and not having the sound it deserves. The equal length header is a kind of header in which all the pipes that come out of the cylinders are the same length up to the point where they merge. This causes the exhaust gas pulses to arrive evenly, without one cylinder hindering the flow of the other. The result is a more efficient exhaust, which improves engine power and torque, especially at high revs, in addition to reducing back pressure. Another important detail is that it also changes the sound tone of the engine, making it sound cleaner and more balanced — unlike headers with unequal lengths, which produce that characteristic noise, as in the case of Subaru.
