In this vlog, I spend beautiful and meaningful days with my family in the Netherlands — celebrating my birthday, my niece’s birthday, and Mother’s Day together. We start in Kijkduin Beach, where my aunt and cousins surprise me with a joyful birthday weekend by the sea. We rent scooters, laugh, enjoy the beach, and I’m reminded that life is also about having fun — even during uncertain or emotional periods. After that, I travel to Friesland, where we celebrate my niece’s 3rd birthday with family. I stay at my mum and bonus dad’s place, which feels incredibly valuable right now as our family continues to navigate his leukaemia treatment journey with hope and love. On Sunday, we celebrate Mother’s Day together — slow moments, gifts, connection, gratitude, and simply being together. And when I take the train back to The Hague, I realize something deeply: If you have people who truly love you like this… you are already rich. Not because of money.
