The Skater's Waltz - Ex: Tom & Susan Varleys 115 Key Verbeeck 'Centenary Organ'
Les Patineurs or The Skaters or Die Schlittschuhläufer Op. 183, is a waltz by Émile Waldteufel (1837 - 1915). Recorded at Todber, 1986 when the organ was owned by my old friend the late Tom Varley, those that remember Tom and Susan will picture Tom in his wooly hat and Susan with a good supply of cups of tea, nice people for sure. The organ has now been updated by the present owners having a new facade and added pipe work.
