We went camping at Deokdonggol Auto Camping Site, right next to Deokdong Valley. It had been raining since the day before, and the temperature dropped more than expected. Although we set up a living shell tent and prepared a cozy sleeping area, the valley air stayed cold all night, and the morning was surprisingly chilly. The highlight of this trip was our campfire dinner. We boiled pork, cooled it down, then grilled it again on a griddle to make crispy grilled boiled pork. We also made buckwheat cream pasta after a few funny cooking mistakes. Cold valley air, warm blankets, campfire time, the sound of flowing water, and a surprisingly successful camping dinner.
