Dormo in una chiesa innevata a 2670m - Monte Robinet in inverno

Piedmont is one of the Italian regions with the highest number of small churches built in unreachable places, another testament to the wonders of Italy and how far man can go when driven by faith. We are at the summit of Monte Robinet (2670m), where the Chapel of the Madonna degli Angeli stands. We went in winter, with an extremely evocative landscape. The interior of the church has everything needed to celebrate a regular mass and is kept in perfect condition, just like any town church. Standing there, solitary, perched on the last rocky peak and dusted with snow, it is truly a cinematic scene.
