Gênesis: Como Ler o Primeiro Livro da Bíblia | Bíblia em um ano com Paulo Won

Let's start our reading of the entire Bible in 2026? As an introduction to reading Genesis, I prepared this video. 🔴 Follow the daily reading through our Instagram:   / bibliainteira.1ano   Before starting to read Genesis in the "Bible in a Year with Paulo Won" plan, this video is your roadmap. Here I explain in a simple way what Genesis is, how it is organized, who probably wrote this book, in what era it fits into biblical history, and why it is so important for understanding the rest of the Scriptures. We look at the two main parts of the book (chapters 1–11 and 12–50), talk about creation, the fall, the promise to Abraham, complicated families, and God's faithfulness that spans generations. I also show how Genesis connects with Jesus, using categories from the Christological reading of Sidney Greidanus's *Preaching Christ from Genesis*: promise and fulfillment, typology, history of redemption, and connections to the New Testament. At the end, I give a very practical guide: which chapters you should pay more attention to (Genesis 1–3, 12, 15, 17, 22, and 37–50), why these texts are pillars within Genesis, and how they connect with biblical theology as a whole – from creation to Christ and the new creation. ▶️ Watch, then return to the biblical text with more clarity and purpose. 📖 Follow the "Bible in a Year with Paulo Won" plan and keep up with the other introductions to the books of the Bible.
