After agreeing to separate, Elmy and her partner Damián decided that their son would spend time with his father every weekend. The day she disappeared, Elmy kept her word and took her young son to visit his father. When the 18-year-old arrived, she had an argument with her mother-in-law that escalated into a physical fight.
