Scottish Bass Catch n Cook | Lure fishing for Sea Bass

When it comes to great tasting fish, very little can surpass 'Sea' Bass. It's little wonder that restaurants are able to charge a pretty penny. However, on the majority of occasions, the fish we find in restaurants, supermarkets and fishmongers are small, farmed Bass imported from the likes of Greece. Unfortunately, as with most fish, this perhaps comes down to a social disconnection to food and a subsequent lack of respect and appreciation which has blighted the UK for the last 10-20 years... But that is a tale for another time. Until then, have a look at how we got on, trying to find the tastiest fish in the sea... the Bass.
