TH170D VERTICAL FINE HONING MACHINE

Honing machine model TH170D is the machine for the internal cylinder honing of cars, lorries and any other special vehicle . Very versatile and easy to handle, is the most simple machine for quick operations and suitable to any operator. Work-table characteristics are of the most advand in the market, with possibility of rotating work-pieces in both the directions from 0-50°, that is good for V motors honing. Clamping by lever is sure and efficient . Vertical lifting of table is controlled by a handwheel and locked by a clamping lever as above. Honing is a modern process for finishing the inner surraces of cylinder. Its main characteristics is the simultaneous rotating and alternative axial motion of an expansion abrasive stones tool. In this way surfaces come out compact and smooth ,spick and span, perfectly cylindrical, saving in time and gaining in precision more than with any other machine. As said before, the theoretical principle of honing operation is the “finishing cylinder bodies already boring machined ”; honer is therefore connected to the machine spindle through a double joint coupling in order not to alter the characteristics given by the boring operation.
