We live in strange and exciting times before the second coming of Christ. In recent years, extraterrestrial and UFO phenomena have been in the news like never before. As the apostle Paul revealed in 2 Thessalonians 2, the spirit of lawlessness is already secretly at work behind the scenes. The apostle John tells us in 1 John 4 that we, as believers, must test the spirits to see whether they are from God or not. Could all of this be related as we approach the return of Jesus Christ? Believers must be equipped with the Word of God and seek discernment from God to distinguish the spirit of truth from the spirit of deception.
