Karen Bailey is the first African Caribbean female to set up her own law firm in the Birmingham City Centre. She is the founder of Bailey Wright & Co which specialises in Education, Family and Employment Law. One of Karen's employment cases was the theme of the film, The Whistleblower! In this interview we discuss common mistakes made by applicants when applying for training contracts as well as what aspiring lawyers can do to stand out, including non-legal based work experience.
