Just moved to Costa Rica🇨🇷from Canada🇨🇦🚛 ✈️ Join us for a walk to check out our neighborhood❣️🌺🏝️

Took us a year to sell our house and everything we own. (it was like eating an elephant 🐘 one bite at a time ha ha (sometimes we got frustrated and cranky, but we kept our eye on the prize and stayed focused.) We rented a U-Haul and drove across Canada, to bring some things to our beautiful daughter in Toronto, then hopped on a direct flight to SJO. We stayed at an Airbnb near the airport, and in the morning, our awesome little new-to-us- Suzuki Jimney, was delivered to us. We loaded it up and headed to our new rented place in beautiful Rio Grande, a beautiful small community just five minutes away from Atenas, in the Central Valley. It’s close to the airport, and just minutes to the main highway that takes you to the pacific Coast beaches less than an hour away. Pura Vida❣️🏝️🌺🐒✝️☀️ While we were out for our walk, we realized and confirmed that this neighbourhood is perfect for us. It’s only a few minutes away from the main town, but has a great grocery store with beautiful fresh fruit, vegetables and meat with comparable prices, a beauty salon auto parts store, gym, even a cute little clothing store, community hall and park. I plan to make another video, where I’ll be sitting down and talking about the reasons why we left Canada, why we chose Costa Rica to be our new home and who we hired to help us navigate the process.
