Bishop Mosa Sono Word of God: Working while it is still day - John 9:1-7 Jesus is committing Himself to do the works of God, seeing Himself as an instrument that God wants to use. Never think that God can’t use you. Everybody is called by God. Working is compulsory. Fulfilling the assignment is a must. God never works by Himself. For the gospel to be preached God anointed people to reach other people. Are we going to be spectators as things go down in our country? Be the difference that you want to see. We are sent by Him. God is infuriated when we don’t live a life of purpose. There is a reason why God has wired you the way that you are. God wants us to use what He gives to you. There is an opportune time called day. We don’t want to time out. Time comes when opportunity is closed and the window is gone. There is a state in which we can work. Revival in God’s terminology doesn’t end in a church building. The reason for God moving in church is that He wants to take the revival to the streets. There’s an overflow of the blessing of God. When God is working the whole city gets affected. The Christian faith is not for lazy people and not a place of cowards. The grace of God is there in partnership. God always looks to the church to be the solution. Working is the culture of the kingdom, Adam and Eve in the garden were working before they sinned. Genesis 1:2-3 - the power is there and the power is sufficient but it is on standby mode. God anoints us with the power of the Spirit to be the solution. Fail forward. When you start working something happens in you and you start understanding. You start being passionate and your heart is taken by what you do then you switch modes and what you do becomes supernatural. Matthew 9:36 - you can’t have compassion when you are remote. Nothing changes until we start into moving chaos and trust God that He will help us navigate it. It is in crisis that our creativity comes to the fore. When God sends you to chaos is because He knows that if you had the courage to face the chaos then His power will work. Don’t get side tracked when work has to be done.
