Presence, Relationship and Resonance Three Keys to Effective Therapy

In this talk Jim will present his personal take on this triad of competencies so critical to almost any type of therapy. Working with others begins with presence, a combination of several qualities that are about the therapist’s authentic relationship to him/herself. Presence attracts the attention and trust of others. Effective relationship requires a host of skills that build a working field between two people, such as client and therapist, or facilitator, or coach, and student and teacher. Resonance is the living, pulsing expression of the connection and attunement between two people. Jim will explore these as elements in his present therapeutic methodology of Formative Embodiment.
