The Fastest Nissan Sentra SR20 VVL in SA

A humble group of 'Pretorians' stood in the inspection line at Dezzi Raceway on August 10, waiting to vet their Nissan Sentra. I walked up to them asked to take some pictures of the car as it was the only Sentra in attendance on the day. Little did I know that this was the fastest all-motor Sentra South Africa has ever seen... Owner of DVD-GP, Lucky Tladi, bought the Sentra in 2008 and drove it around the capital city before he ran into the Murray brothers or "Murbros". Together, the team set out to build [on a budget] a worthy contender in the 4 cylinder aspirated class. The outcome? One of the sweetest sounding naturally aspirated cars in the South African drag scene. With the compression bumped all the way up, running on full methanol, this VVL pushes out between 150-190kw at the wheels.
