The 'Borrowed' Polish Wolverine That Took Every RPG Afghanistan Threw and Never Lost a Crew

The KTO Rosomak — Poland's "Wolverine," a licence-built Finnish Patria AMV 8x8 — went to war in Afghanistan and survived every RPG the Taliban could throw at it without losing a single crew member to enemy fire. Over 900 Rosomak vehicles have been produced by Rosomak S.A. in Siemianowice Śląskie, Poland, making it the largest Patria AMV fleet in the world. When Poland deployed over 130 of them to Ghazni Province under ISAF, they were up-armoured with steel-composite plating and QinetiQ Q-Net anti-RPG panels.
