Radio Knob Mold Part 3 - Silicone Mold Making - Squirreland

Today I made a simple silicone mold of a vintage radio knob. Some molds that I make are odd shapes and it would be very difficult to measure the exact amount of silicone needed to mix so I can complete that particular mold. When I pour silicone for a project in my shop, I generally have one or two smaller molds nearby in which to pour any excess silicone. Silicone is expensive and there is no reason to waste any because I mixed too much. Since it is already mixed with the hardener and is going to eventually cure, I might as well have some smaller useful molds on standby. This is one of those molds.
