Minidoc "Os caminhos que conectam a Amazônia e o oceano"

The ocean doesn't begin at the beach, it begins in the forest! In a sensitive and dynamic dialogue, teachers and students connect science, Amazonian culture, and territory to show how the waters of the Amazon—from the creeks to the great rivers—are interconnected with the global ocean and the challenges of climate change. As a result of a roundtable discussion held in Santarém with invited teachers, 9th-grade students, and science teachers from the Aluízio Lopes Martins and Terezinha de Jesus Rodrigues State Schools, this mini-documentary was produced to highlight the importance of environmental preservation in the region. A product of the SNCT 2025, which extended its activities and concludes its program in June 2026. 👥 Who made it happen (Technical Sheet): General Coordination of SNCT/PA: Prof. Dr. Maria Ataide Malcher (UFPA) Local coordination, direction, and production of the mini-documentary: Prof. Mr. Everaldo de Souza Cordeiro (SEDUC/PA) Cinematography: Ernélio Silva Editing: Sávio Pereira Invited Professors (Roundtable Discussion): Prof. Dr. Raimunda Lucineide Gonçalves Pinheiro (PhD in Environmental Sciences - UFOPA) Prof. Dr. Rosa Luciana Pereira Rodrigues (PhD in Communication Sciences - UFPA) Science Teachers/Moderators: Prof. Pedro Paulo Mota Figueira (SEDUC/PA) and Prof. Priscila Veiga da Silva (SEDUC/PA) Partner State Schools (SEDUC/PA): Aluízio Lopes Martins State School (Blue School) Terezinha de Jesus Rodrigues State School (Green School)
