I drove into the Highlands to disappear

Taking my 2022 Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD deep into the Scottish Highlands for 48 hours of solo Tesla camping in the wild to completely disappear off the grid. My goal for this trip was to test out a few extremely remote locations to build up my solo car camping confidence before I tackle a massive solo run of the NC500 later this year. I experienced a rare Scottish heatwave, navigated isolated single-track roads, managed the threat of midges, got caught in an early morning rainstorm (complete with an audience of sheep!), and learned exactly why you always need to be prepared for ticks on the West Coast.
