This ceremony took place at the Cassiterite Building, PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk's Pemali Learning Center in Bangka Regency, on Thursday (July 2, 2026). This handover marked the beginning of the coaching process for the students who have passed the selection process and will study at SMAN 1 Pemali and the PT TIMAH Pemali Boarding School Dormitory. The event was attended by Rahmat Taufik, Division Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk; Sukinda, Head of the Information and Communication Technology Center of the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Education Office; Eflina, Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Pemali; and students selected for the SMA Negeri 1 Pemali Boarding School scholarship program, along with their parents. The student handover ceremony took place solemnly, marked by the symbolic handover of school supplies from PT TIMAH to the students, accompanied by their parents. This year, 194 students from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Riau Province, and the Riau Islands Province applied for the PT TIMAH Scholarship Class Program. However, after undergoing administrative selection, field surveys, academic potential tests, psychological assessments, clinical psychology examinations, document validation, and health screenings, only 36 students were accepted.
