During the era, Rich earned a Grammy along with several CMA and ACM awards. He started his career as a Sun Records recording artist, with founder Sam Phillips, so it only seemed fitting for Holli to pay homage to the music royalty originally involved. Recorded at Sam Phillips Recording Service in Memphis, the song has Sam’s granddaughter, Halley Phillips, and Rick Hall's son, Rodney Hall, producing, with mixing at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals-- marking this the first time the two musically rich and historic Phillips and Hall families have collaborated on a project.
