How to Make Seamless Half Double Crochet Rounds

If you're like me, you hate the slanted seam (or any seam for that matter) that shows up when joining and beginning new rounds in crochet. I especially disliked it in my recent half double crochet project. Using Lion Brand's newest yarn, For the Home Cording, the stitch definition is so distinct that even an Invisible slip seam stitch showed up. I decided to play around with the stiches until I came up with this new method of joining half doubles in the round. Not only is the seam BARELY noticeable at all, it is reversible! I hope you enjoy using this new technique as much as I have been! If you're interested in the cellphone sling pattern that I am making in this video, you can find it for free on my blog at https://daysck.com or you can find a printable pdf for relatively little cost in both my Etsy and Ravelry shops at https://linktr.ee/dayscrochetnc. I dubbed it the Cell-faux Sak since it is so similar to The Sak's material. Follow me on social media!
