Episode #7 - VP4 Factory Presets w/NICK JAMES! - Part 2 That AustinBuddy TonePack Show!

README! The "That AustinBuddy TonePack Show!" series usually highlights different artists playing AustinBuddy TonePack sounds made for the Fractal Audio Axe-FX III, FM9, and FM3. Remember to set your YouTube playback video quality to 720P or higher! However, in this episode, we are going to explore a few of the VP4's Factory Presets I created or helped create! Helping me again in this series of VP4 exploration is songwriter, guitarist, and singer Nick James of the Austin-based band The Reverent Few (from Episode 6). In Part 1, we'll walk through some of the VP4's factory presets I created related to drives, overdrives, distortions, fuzzes as well as choruses, and play some sounds once again into two real amps -- A Bogner Ecstasy 101b and a Two Rock Custom Reverb. In Part 2 we'll explore some other factory presets I contributed to such as flangers, phasers, baritone and a few artist effects like SRV or U2-style sounds, plus a look at a cool instant feedback by Dweezil Zappa and Fractal. We'll also show you how to use the VP4-Editor to save blocks to a user library for instant recall in any preset, and how to use an expression pedal to control modulation speed like a phaser. ---- PART2 CHAPTERS 00:00 (Continued from part 1!) 00:04 Flangers! We're not playing into an Axe-FX III (like my other videos). Feel free to ask Nick or I questions in the comments and we'll respond! Cheers all!
