The fuel level on the OZON DAAZ carburetor can be adjusted either on a test bench or in the vehicle. After filling the float chamber with fuel, it is MANDATORY!!! to remove the fuel supply hose from the fuel pump to the carburetor (to prevent pressurized fuel from spilling into the float chamber when the cap is lifted and the fuel needle opens). Otherwise, the actual fuel level reading will be distorted. IMPORTANT! One of the reasons for the "NEEDLE NOT HOLDING" error may be increased pressure generated by the fuel pump, which should be between 0.3-0.35 kgf/cm². FUEL LEVEL TOO LOW is UNACCEPTABLE for fuel economy, as it leads to delayed activation of the primary gas-turbine system, a leaner mixture, reduced engine power, and a significant increase in fuel consumption due to wide throttle opening angles. A high level leads to an earlier onset of the primary gas-turbine system (GDS) and an over-enriched fuel-air mixture, which contributes to increased fuel consumption, rapid spark plug failure, deposits on cylinder-piston group components, and other negative consequences. To monitor the composition of the fuel-air mixture prepared by the carburetor in various operating modes, it is advisable to use a gas analyzer or a mixture quality indicator (ICS-1). However, if such devices are not available, the condition of the spark plugs can be used to simply assess the mixture quality. Fuel level is not the least important parameter here, but a rather important one. The level of combustible carburetor ozone should be adjusted to the same level as the car. We recommend checking the combustible carburetor system.
