Recommended Running in Procedures if followed meticulously will help the engine parts bed in well and bike will serve you well for a long long time without burning the engine oil or leading to major engine repairs. 1, During cold starts, let the engine idle for 2-3 min until the rpm settles down. 2, Avoid sudden acceleration and sudden braking. 3, Ride the bike under 4000 rpm or do not exceed following in gear speeds. 1st - 20 kmph 2nd - 30 kmph 3rd - 40 kmph 4th - 60 kmph 5th - 70 -90 kmph when cruising. 4, Never ride at constant speeds, keep the rpm / speed varying, example 5th gear vary speeds between 70-90 kmph and alsi in other gears example 3rd or 4th respectively. 5, Every 50-80 km ride, give the bike 15 min rest to cool down. 6, Ensure mandatory oil change at first service to drain out the metal shavings produced in the brand new engine as part of break in.
