'I feel disgusted when i see people fighting to be bishop in my anglican church! Rt. Rev. J Mahiaini

Bishop Emeritus John Mahiaini was the first bishop of Mt Kenya Central. He was fronted by christians of the then newly established diocese. But when it came that he would be subjected to an election with another candidate, Bishop Mahiaini voluntarily gave up the position to the other contender. To him, being a shepherd , is an appointment from the Holy Spirit not an election! So how did he end up being the first bishop of Mt Kenya Central?
