I wanted to make sure she had all her favorites, so I spent the afternoon cooking up a classic Jamaican spread: smoky jerk chicken, flavorful jerk pork, savory curry chicken, and traditional rice and peas. I also baked and frosted a fresh layer cake from scratch to top off the night! 🎂🍰 Watching her and the family enjoy the dinner under the candlelight made all the prep work so worth it.
