Fernando Schüler | Prêmio Liberdade de Imprensa 2024

Fernando Schüler is the recipient of the 2024 Press Freedom Award. The Press Freedom Award was created by the IEE in 2007 to honor individuals dedicated to the development of critical thinking and the defense and promotion of press freedom. Considered one of the most respected intellectuals in the country, Schüler is a columnist for Veja Magazine, the Bandeirantes Communication Group, and the creator and curator of the Frontiers of Thought Project. He also holds a PhD in Philosophy and a Master's in Political Science, is a professor and researcher at Insper, and specializes in Public Policy and Government Management. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 37th edition of the Freedom Forum brought together scholars, entrepreneurs, public representatives, and national and international influencers to discuss the most important issues of our time. With the central theme "Brave Free World?", the event brought together thousands of people at PUCRS, in Porto Alegre, on April 4th and 5th, 2024.
