Woodturning - Christmas Nutcracker Soldier

I've never tried anything quite like this. The woodturning part was pretty simple...the putting it all together so it actually looked like a nutcracker soldier was another matter entirely! I'm definitely not a painter or a decorator! Still, I was reasonably pleased with the outcome. It probably needs some more decoration but I decided to stop while I was ahead!
