Carrying a massive cargo of 20 lakh barrels of crude oil from Iraq, the vessel had previously faced gunfire and shrapnel damage from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) while navigating the high-risk Strait of Hormuz. Defying immense geopolitical threats and operational challenges, the brave captain and crew successfully brought the ship home under Indian Navy monitoring.
