Keerthi Kodithuwakku Guest Talk on "Building and Commercializing MedTech IP from Sri Lanka"

This talk was jointly organised by Prof. Deeph Chana, Imperial Business School Centre for Financial Technology, and Prof. Thrishantha Nanayakkara, Dyson School of Design Engineering, Imperial College London. Keerthi Kodithuwakku is a Sri Lankan biomedical engineer, inventor, entrepreneur, and Chevening CRISP Fellow at the University of Oxford. He is the Chairman and CEO of Jendo Innovations, a Sri Lankan-born health technology company developing non-invasive vascular health monitoring technologies for preventive cardiovascular and metabolic disease risk screening. Keerthi’s innovation journey has been recognized by global institutions including WIPO, WHO, and ITU, and Jendo has been featured by WIPO as a case study on intellectual property-led health innovation. He also founded the Entrepreneurship Society of the University of Moratuwa, Neo Ventures in collaboration with the National Institute of Business Management, Sri Lanka Inventors Commission, Computer Society of Sri Lanka and TRACE. He further serves as a Visiting Lecturer, mentor, and ecosystem builder supporting frontier technology innovation from the Global South.
