This video is a continuation of our previous trip to Jindaiji Temple in Chofu, Tokyo. After enjoying the fresh green vibe and some amazing Soba, we head right across the street to explore the beautiful Jindai Botanical Gardens. Visiting in late April 2026, the absolute highlight is the stunning Azaleas, tightly trimmed into round, dome-like shapes—a traditional Japanese landscaping style. Try it unless it’s freezing outside! I highly recommend ordering the Tempura Soba set. It’s also called "Ten-Seiro" or "Ten-Zaru." Eating Soba alone can get a bit simple, so adding Tempura is the perfect way to upgrade the flavor and variety! Standard Soba is usually 80% buckwheat and 20% wheat, but you can also find "Ju-wari Soba," which is 100% buckwheat. "Ju-wari Soba" can be a bit dry and crumbly, so I personally recommend the regular version!
