At Millerton Lake I noticed the small mouth bass were chasing my AJ Lures swimbait. They were aggressive but not inhaling the bait. After watching the footage from my Water Wolf, I went over to O'Neill Forebay for some striper fishing. I stuck to my AJ Lures swimbait and caught a few fish. I did notice that i was getting a lot of hits from these stripers so I switch out the AJ lures swimbait for a SpeedLures 130 jerkbait. I figured they must be doing the same thing the bass were doing at Millerton Lake. Anything that would hit the lure would surely get hooked. Sure enough, after putting on the SpeedLures 130 jerkbait, my hookup ratio increased. Sometimes seeing what happens underwater can improve your hook ups quite a bit.
