Moment solemn la Voluntari, instalarea noului Episcop pentru România

The “Saint Mary” Church in Voluntari was, on Saturday, the place of a moment with a strong spiritual charge, with the installation of His Holiness Father Emilian in the dignity of Eparchy Bishop for Romania of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church. The ceremony brought together numerous believers and representatives of the clergy from Romania and Montenegro. The enthronement service was officiated by His Beatitude Boris, Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, together with other invited hierarchs. The moment marked the establishment and consolidation of the Eparchy for Romania, a new structure of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church intended for the believers in our country. After the installation ceremony, all the believers present listened to the first sermon delivered by the new bishop, a message centered on unity in faith, peace and the rapprochement between the Orthodox communities. At the end, the clergy and the faithful prayed together, in a moment of communion that concluded the religious ceremony.
