Moment by Moment

Whittle (1893) Music: May Whittle Moody This song highlights a very important matter in our Christian lives; the matter of subjectively walking with Jesus and enjoying the presence of Jesus moment by moment. It is true that Jesus Christ died as a sacrifice for us, so that anyone who believes in Him can have eternal life, but this life isn't just a future place that many of us (including myself) often think of it as. This life is Christ Himself. He testified many times in the Bible that He is the "bread of life" and the "way, the truth, and the life.." In singing this song I realized that Jesus not only wants to save us so we can go to heaven, but even more than that, He wants us to come to Him everyday, to invite Him into the mundane things of life, and turn to Him moment by moment.
