According to a Datafolha poll conducted on May 20th and 21st with 2,004 respondents in 139 cities, 88% of voters who declared their support for Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) believe the senator should continue his presidential campaign despite the revelations of the "Dark Horse" case. The margin of error for the survey, registered with the Electoral Court under code BR-07489/2026, is two percentage points. And, according to anthropologist Isabela Kalil, Flávio uses a strategy typical of Bolsonarism to build his electoral base: assuming the role of victim to create a narrative of persecution among his voters.
