South America Bike Adventure Part 7:Peru Divide
Riding north along the Peru Divide was outstanding. Lots of empty space, lakes and rivers allowed for great camping. The steep valleys and gorges made for huge climbs and descents between 2000m and 5000m. Weather was more unsettled and night temps dropped to -5 C to -15 C. The alpine peaks were amazing colours due to their high mineral content.
