We cut through Grand Bahama Island on our way to the Abacos S2: E11

Our solar panels finally arrive and we cast lines from Ocean Reef Marina on Grand Bahama Island to Treasure Cay in the Abacos. Because we only draw 3.5 feet of water under our hull, we are able to cut through the island on its forgotten canal system, the Grand Lucayan Waterway. Most vessels have to round the West End to move from Freeport to the upper Abaco islands. This means we have to be pretty careful with tides since the lowest charted depth is 3 feet!
