javascript : setTimeout, setInterval, and requestAnimationFrame: PART ONE
This is a two part series, showing how to use JavaScript's setTimeout, setInterval (part1), and requestAnimationFrame (part2). There is more than meets the eye with these 'time dependent' function callers, and I will show you how to get the most out of them in these two videos. Even if you are familiar with setTimeout and setInterval, I think you should still watch part 1, as it explains what requestAnimationFrame (part 2) is actually doing and why it needs to exist.
