Covered Bridge: Is the View the Only Thing Worth Ordering?

We really wanted to love this place because the setting is absolutely beautiful — the covered bridge views and river scenery are truly stunning and easily the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t match the location. The clam chowder was bland and we were surprised to receive only about half a bowl. The fish tacos were completely drowning in sauce and served on plates that were too small, making the whole dish messy and overwhelming. The pretzel sticks were severely overcooked, hard instead of soft and warm. On top of that, the staff seemed disorganized and confused throughout the experience, which added to the frustration.
