It was so much fun working with engines and a line I've known so much about for such a long time. Highlights were certainly the late-night steam and live music at Wharf, being allowed into the Awdry study and firing a whole round trip on Dolgoch! Not to mention generally hanging out with faces old and new. If it wasn't obvious, I highly recommend anyone who has either hesitated or never thought to volunteer here or at any heritage railway to do so; there is something for everyone to do. I'll definitely be back next year.
