The Turkish Interior Minister revealed a significant increase in the number of Syrians voluntarily returning to their country, noting that approximately 1,000 people are leaving Turkey for Syria daily, with this number expected to rise further after the end of the school year and the closure of schools. The minister explained that the number of Syrians under temporary protection in Turkey is approximately 2.245 million, following a continuous decline in recent years. He pointed out that voluntary returns are ongoing according to official procedures overseen by Turkish authorities.
