Lesson on Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (Warm, Cold, and Paroxysmal Cold Hemoglobinuria): Clinical features, Laboratory findings, Signs and Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Treatment. Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia is one type of anaemia that is due to the production of autoantibodies against red blood cell membrane antigens. Each subtype of autoimmune haemolytic anaemia has a different type of autoantibody that is produced. Each of the subtypes of autoimmune haemolytic anaemia have different categories of causes, which we discuss in this lesson. These different types of autoimmune haemolytic anaemia have many clinical features in common including symptoms of anemia, and signs and symptoms of haemolysis.
